Kat & Bud Enterprises, LLC is a full service, year around accounting and tax preparation practice. We provide bookkeeping, payroll services, sales tax report preparation, and income tax preparation for all individuals and businesses. Kathryn has 40 years of experience in the accounting and tax industry.

Work Experience:

• H&R Block Preparer and Office Manager - 5 years. Kathryn managed two of their offices in the Phoenix area. She took all of their classes to become proficient in preparing all individual and business tax returns.

• Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Revenue Agent – 4 years.

• Audited individuals and businesses. Detail assignments to: fraud and non-filer group, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, Advanced Tax Law Research.

• In 1992 Kathryn opened a sole proprietorship accounting and tax preparation firm in Buckeye, AZ, Kathryn S. Tracy, Accountant. In 2001 the name was changed to Kat & Bud Enterprises, LLC recognizing her husband Gene Tracy and their two children Iris (Tracy) Howell and Aaron Tracy as partners in the company. The family is celebrating 30 years in business serving the Buckeye Valley!

• In 2008 Kathryn studied for and passed the Special Enrollment Exam (SEE) to become an Enrolled Agent. Enrolled Agents (EA) are licensed and governed by the IRS. They are considered specialists in taxation and representation for taxpayers with the IRS. 

• We helped found the non profit organization called Disciple Makers 2 Timothy 2:2, Inc. This group supports the pastor and the ministry of a mission church plant in Roatan, Honduras.
